When I stop to think about how I get to be the one photographing Lydia and Hayden on their big day, I'm thrown back to memories from what feels like a lifetime ago. I knew Lydia and Hayden when they were just little kids. In fact, I was pretty good friends with their older siblings. Who would've thought that me (the girl in the middle) would be photographing the tiny one's WEDDING?! I can assure you it never crossed my mind. Life is funny, and I'm just so thankful to be here doing this.
It's so neat to see how God brought these two together. They make a beautiful couple, and their May wedding is going to be a party!
When Lydia messaged me asking about the possibility of squeezing in an engagement session over the holidays, I wanted to make it happen, but I wasn't sure if we'd be able to. I hadn't even brought my camera gear with me! I knew we were pressed for time, but I also knew I wanted to be able to capture some engagement photos for them. Engagement photos are a complimentary service I offer to all my brides! So I borrowed my sister's gear, and we met up at Campbell's Covered Bridge while Hayden was on call for work. He showed up in his fire truck which made us all smile. Sharing several of my favorites today, but lookout because you'll be seeing lots more of this couple come May 15!
