A Christian marriage is a beautiful thing. As I listened to the pastor during Austin and Rachel's ceremony, my heart was stirred: Marriage brings "safety and security because you know God’s abiding and eternal commitment to you." We can commit to that kind of love because of what we know to be true about God.
Austin and Rachel's day was beautiful. I've never actually shot a wedding where the bridal party was styled in black, but let me tell you, I am a big fan. Rachel's incredible veil, the field at sunset, hey, even the wind-blown look - it all made me giddy about sharing these photos.
THE WEDDING MORNING
THE CEREMONY
After the ceremony, we had a little under an hour left before sunset. Because Austin and Rachel decided not to do a first look, we had lots of pictures we needed to get after the ceremony. We stayed close by the ceremony spot and knocked out a whole lot of pictures in a short amount of time, and we had a beautiful sunset for bride and groom photos, just like Rachel wanted. In fact, she planned her entire ceremony time around these pictures. Talk about making your photographer happy...
This group put the "party" in bridal party. No question.
THE RECEPTION
Congrats, Rachel and Austin! It's clear you guys are so loved and have amazing friends surrounding you. Thank you for letting me be a part of your first day of marriage!
